Our Before and After School Care program is designed to provide care for children while parents/caregivers are working.  We emphasize the Y’s four core values in character development – caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility – in every activity and interaction. 

Our goals for the program are to provide:

  • A warm, caring and safe environment
  • Each child the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and social skills
  • Developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate creativity and encourage learning through fun and discovery.

Since the 2018-19 school year, our program at the Public Charter Schools provides Before and After Care for Pre-k through 8th Grade. Our program provides children and parents a safe, enriching, dependable, and affordable before and aftercare experience.

Kindergarten through 8th Grade 
Before Care: 6:30 am until the start of school
After Care: end of school until 6:00 pm

Pre-K (Vineland Charter School only)
Before Care: 7:30 am until the start of school
After Care: end of school until 6:00 pm

Our Y offers four convenient options for registering your child(ren):

  1. Stop at the Y to register your children
  2. Mail your completed registration packets to us at 1159 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360. Please send with attention to the Before and After Care Program. A friendly YMCA staff person will call to complete registration once your packet is received.
  3. Fax documents to (856)212-3329. Please send with attention to the Before and After Care program. A friendly YMCA staff person will call to complete registration once your packet is received.
  4. Scan and email completed documents to cmadison@ccaymca.org

*Membership Requirement*
All Before and After School participants are required to have at least a $35 Annual Program Membership. A Program Membership entitles your child, or family, to participate in YMCA programs such as the Before and After Care program. Other programs include summer camp, swim lessons, youth sports, youth dance, and more! Click here to download the application. If your child's school is closed:

The YMCA program will be closed.

Scheduled Holiday School Closings:

The YMCA  Before & After School program will be closed based on the Charter School Calendar. The YMCA will provide Holiday Care (held at the Y) for most scheduled days off. To learn more or download a Holiday Care registration packet, click here! 

If your child's school has a delayed opening:
YMCA program will be delayed by one hour  

Half Days
The YMCA After School program still operates on a normal schedule during half days however, care will end two hours early unless parents choose and paid for extended care.
