At the YMCA, we believe every family deserves to feel cared for and supported during the winter season. Our Bless It Forward Community Donation Drive helps ensure that individuals and families in the Cumberland County area have essential food items and meaningful gifts to enjoy together.
This program is open to all community members experiencing financial or personal hardship. Thanks to the generosity of donors, volunteers, and partners, we’re able to bring comfort, connection, and hope to families during a time when it matters most.
Together, we can make the season brighter for our neighbors. ❤️

- Unexpired Non Perishable Foods (Cereal, Oatmeal, Pancake Mix, Pancake Syrup, Pasta / Pasta Sauce, Canned Vegetables/Fruit, Canned or Dry Beans, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Rice, Mac & Cheese, Tuna/Canned Meats)
- Household Necessities: Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Individually Wrapped Toilet Paper/Paper Towels, Body Wash, Deodorant, Body Soap, Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Sponges, Disinfectant Wipes, Fabric Softener, Tissues, etc…
- Christmas Gifts for all ages: Brand New Toys, Games, Clothing, Coats, Cold Weather Accessories, Shoes, Fragrances, Electronics, Gift Cards, and Small Household Appliances.
Other ways you can help:
- Make a monetary donation towards our Bless it Forward Drive. 100% of your donation will go directly to supporting the families in need. Call Member Services or stop in and speak with a representative. Cash, Check, or Credit/Debit Cards are accepted (by phone: credit or debit card only).
- Adopt a Family. If you enjoy shopping and would love to personally take on holiday gifts for an entire family, we can set you up with basic information on families of 2-8.
