Our camp offered in Atlantic County! Starting our third year of services, our day camp program is open to Atlantic County residents. Camp is offered at Dawes Avenue School. Four camps are offered in Somers Point - Camp Mini-Me, Camp Hiawatha, Camp Sequoia, and Camp Arrow. Registration packets are available below.
 
Register for a week or all summer long. Summer camp is where your child can make new friends, learn and discover, get creative and have fun trying new things in a safe and nurturing environment!

  • YMCA Camp in Somers Point is open to all children ages 3 to 13 years old
  • Camp is held at Dawes Ave School (22 W Dawes Ave, Somers Point, NJ 08244)
  • Camp day runs from 9:00am - 4:00 pm with early and aftercare options available from 6:30am - 5:30 pm
  • Weekly camp themes keep the whole summer fun and exciting!
  • Third-party funding is accepted 
  • Healthy Breakfast and Lunch served to all campers
  • Gaga
  • Bike Riding
  • Sports 
  • Field Games
  • Spike Ball
  • Crossnet (Foursquare meets Volleyball)
  • Volleyball
  • Outdoor Water Play
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Reading
  • Healthy U Activities and Games
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

There are four options for summer camp at Jordan Road School; click the camp(s) you are interested in for a registration packet.

  • Somers Point Camp weekly fee for camp:
    • Camp Mini-Y: $195.00
    • Camp Hiawatha: $199.00
    • Camps Sequoia and Arrow: $200.00
  • Early Option (6:30 AM to 5:30 PM) $55.00 per week
  • Before and After Care option (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) $45.00 per week
  • We accept third party assistance such as Rutgers, Inspira, etc.; learn more by contacting our Financial Services Coordinator, Chanyra Williams at 856-691-0030 extension 111. Our staff works closely with parents to ensure timely paperwork completion regardless of current childcare provider.
  • The YMCA also provides financial assistance options should you be denied from outside agencies

Completed Registration Packets can be emailed to cwilliams@ccaymca.org or faxed to (856) 212-3329. Staff will follow-up for payments.
