The Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA Board of Directors recently installed new officers. The Board is a dedicated group of approximately twenty volunteers who provide expertise, leadership, and support to this essential community organization. Their efforts provide the basis for the YMCA’s mission, which is to strengthen our community. Luigi Tramontana, Junior became the new president of the Board. He succeeds Kathy Farinaccio, who previously led the group.
Farinaccio said, “It was my privilege to lead this selfless board during a time of change and development in this post-pandemic world. As I step down and leave the Y’s governance in Lou’s capable hands, I see a bright future of growth for the organization as it strengthens its outreach to the communities it serves.” She added, “Many thanks to CEO George Steinbronn, Junior and the Y’s tireless and devoted staff for its efforts to improve the health and lives of so many people.” Farinaccio works with the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce.
Tramontana will hold his new office for a two year term. He commented, “As president of the YMCA Board, I am honored to lead this impactful organization that is dedicated to promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Through my service, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of the YMCA and its ability to positively impact the lives of countless individuals in our communities. It is a privilege to be a part of an organization that is committed to making a difference, and I am proud to continue supporting the YMCA's important mission." The new president is the
Chief of Fire / EMS and Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Vineland.
The Y’s CEO, Steinbronn, praised both Board members for their contributions to the organization. He said, “These two individuals exemplify the highest levels of service to the community. We appreciate all that they do for the Y and our area. We are grateful to have them as part of the YMCA family.”
