The Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA will begin its winter session of indoor group exercise classes throughout the week of Monday, January 4. A total of thirty-six programs are on the current roster. All levels of fitness are encouraged to participate, as these programs are for veteran exercisers and for those whose goal is to fulfill new New Year’s fitness resolutions. Yoga, Spinning, strength, kickboxing, and conditioning programs are all available. The earliest classes start at 5:45 a.m., and the latest ends at 8:00 p.m. They are available Monday through Thursday, with one Zumba class scheduled for Saturdays. Classes run for eight weeks.
New to this session is Circuit Training (weekdays from 12:00 to 12:30 and 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.), Total Body Boot Camp (5:00 to 5:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays), and Virtual Yin Fusion Yoga (7:00 to 7:45 p.m. on Mondays). More virtual classes are being planned for the future.

The YMCA complies with all state and local guidelines for COVID-19 safety. People at the Y must have a temperature check and answer health questions upon arrival and must wear a mask while in the building. The facility is cleaned throughout all of the hours it is open.
